On the afternoon of March 30, 2007, the opening ceremony of the “Wuxi Archives Teaching Practice Base” of Jiangnan University was held. Participants include Ma Jianguo, deputy mayor of Wuxi City, Lou Guodong, deputy general-secretary of the school party committee, Ye Qinliang, deputy secretary-general of the municipal party committee, and Tang Keke, director of the Wuxi Municipal Archives Bureau.

The completion of the teaching practice base will provide rich teaching practice content and relatively fixed internship places for many majors of the School of Law and Politics. In addition to allowing students to participate in internship operations such as file reception, collection, management, digital processing, database management, etc., the base will create more opportunities to become a field for student quality development. At the same time, it will also facilitate the use of materials for the teaching and research of teachers of the School of Law and Politics.

After the opening ceremony, a ceremony for the appointment of part-time professors was also held. Ye Qinliang, deputy secretary general of the Wuxi Municipal Party Committee, and Tang Keke, director of the Archives Bureau, accepted the letter of appointment as the part-time professor of our school.
