The Law School Training and Experiment Center is located on the first, second and fourth floors of the Wenke Building of Jiangnan University, with a total area of 664 square meters. The Center consists of three professional training laboratories and a research capacity training laboratory.
The law training laboratory and the social worker training laboratory share a room, with 101 computers and related equipment, covering an area of 152 square meters. The laboratory has legal training platform software, social work case training software, social work group training software, social work large case library, social statistics software, e-government office system, etc. to provide simulation training for social work, administrative management, law and other majors.
The simulated court training laboratory has a floor area of 320 square meters, including 154 seats and related equipment. The main function of the room is to provide basic legal conditions for case studies and analysis for the legal profession.
The scenario simulation training laboratory covers an area of 160 square meters, including 80 seats and related equipment. The main function of the room is to provide experimental conditions for case simulation and analysis for liberal arts majors such as social work.
The research capacity training laboratory has 20 computers and related equipment, covering an area of 34 square meters. The laboratory is mainly composed of an electronic reading room and a research and guidance room. The electronic reading room is used by the undergraduate and postgraduate to search professional database in our school because we have provided Wanfang, Weipu, Superstar, and Peking University Legal Law Database, and increased the necessary agricultural database.
The Law School Training and Experiment Center has 190 pieces/sets of high-value equipment, worth more than 2 million yuan. Among them, there are two sets of highly valuable equipment (social work management system), worth more than 800,000 yuan. The Center currently has computer and network equipment, multimedia teaching aids, graphic processing equipment, digital graphic editing and storage systems and other professional training software and data acquisition and statistical analysis software. The above hardware and software conditions provide basic experimental equipment and software conditions for the various majors and other liberal arts majors of law schools. Students conduct training experiments on information management applications, computer information resource retrieval, computer network applications, multimedia data production, and statistical analysis. The training courses offered by the Center have specially prepared syllabuses and instruction books to ensure the needs of practical experimental teaching. At present, the equipment in the Center is 100% well preserved and the training courses are 100% open. The Law School Training Experimental Center and Practice Base form a teaching and experimenting and internship system with reasonable and complete functions. They have been rated as the standard configuration of professional training laboratories by relevant experts in the degree awarding and subject evaluation of various majors, which provide a good practical basis for the training experiments of various undergraduate courses.
