Introduction to the master's degree program of Marketing Economics Law

Our Market Economic Law (secondary master's degree) under the discipline of Applied Economics is a discipline that focuses on the concepts, principles and method analysis of economics, and evaluates legal systems and legal phenomena. It emphasizes the intersection of law and economics, the contemplation between disciplines and the balance of reflection. It analyzes not only legal theory problems and legal phenomena by economic analysis methods, but also market economic legal systems by traditional methods of legal research such as philosophical analysis methods and comparative analysis methods, so as to seek a reasonable and best solution to legal problems in mutual reflection and mutual reference. It has the following contents:

1. The theory of market economy rule of law. It mainly studies the basic theories of law, the basic theories of civil and commercial law, the basic theories of economic law and the related legal theory issues.

2. Research on the legal system of market economy. It mainly studies the normative order of China's market economy to avoid the fluctuation risk of the market economy and create a fair and harmonious economic competition order. Specifically, it includes three main directions: market entity law, market competition law, and macro-control law.

3. Research on the international economic legal system, mainly research on international trade, especially WTO legal system, international finance, trade environment and other related policies. Specifically, it includes three research directions: the international trade legal system, the international financial legal system, and the international intellectual property protection system.

Examination subjects: English, Politics, Advanced Mathematics, General Law.

The General Law test mainly tests candidates’ basic knowledge of law.

Reexamination: Economic Law

Main courses: Microeconomics, Civil Law, Commercial Law, Economic Law, Jurisprudence, etc.

Prospects for the development of disciplines: Cross-disciplines is the mainstream trend of disciplinary development in the 21st century; Cross-disciplines is also easy to introduce new research results. The Research Centers or master's programs of the major Law and Economics are widely found in top universities such as Peking University, China University of Political Science and Law, Zhejiang University, and Xiamen University.
